This set had to be designed with a half day turnaround in mind. After completing the design of Much Ado About Nothing and Twelfth Night for the RJ Williamson Shakespeare Company I was asked to join the tour as a theatre technician. This role encompassed every aspect of the production. From unloading and constructing the set to costume repairs and running props. It was an invaluable insight into how a show tours and gave me first hand experience of adapting a set to six different venues, working in extreme weather conditions and carrying out repairs and modifications throughout.
