The audience
were led backstage and seated upstage on the actual stage itself. The first
half of the show was viewed this way. After the interval the audience sat in
the auditorium and the play was viewed from the opposite side. A very simple
and stylized set, we played with the idea of cleansing and washing off the blood
with repeated sinks, toilets and baths.
