Kate Unwin The Fairy Queen
I used
an umbrella as a base for each flower and added different fabrics and
materials. They were filled with fairy lights and lowered in by pulleys and
opened up during the opera.
I also painted
the floor as a green forest floor flecked with gold and made garlands which
acted as a backdrop.
